Gang,
I've noticed that in some stacks running in the IDE under OSX appear
momentarily white and then their background color or image appears.
This is VERY brief, but it can be seen as a flicker. It's more
noticeable because my backgrounds are different shades of charcoal.

Where to do you put the lock/unlock screen in order to get rid of
opening stack flicker? (See below for details.)
- Before and after you go to the stack? Tried this and flicker still
there.

The alwaysBuffer approach I have tried already, but thanks for the
suggestion.
I think you're suggesting that I go invisibly to the stack and then
show it. Is that what you mean? I'll try that.

flicker confimed here... and also the occasional completely blank
stack, until resize (OSX)

Is it possible to set the loc of a stack before it is opened? I have a
template stack which I use to create clones from, so it has to be
called on-screen in order to do the clone operation. When this goes on,
there is a pretty unsightly flash of the stack appearing, and then
being quickly clone
