Well, I think the GM is good enough for minor use / basic things...
and scripting stays the best way...

Well you don't need to call the GM, you set the GM properties via
the Property Inspector for the Object(s) and I doubt if the GM would
cause your stack not to compile into a Standalone.
What problem do you get when you try to Save as Standalone?

The Geometry Manager is broken and has been for over three years. Why
they just don't take it out is beyond me. If it wasn't there at least
you wouldn't waste hours/days wondering why your code doesn't work
