Jeetendra - Hue is not part of Ambari and not managed by it. Nor is it an
Apache project or part of HDP.
You can find installation documentation in the Hue documentation and some HDP
specific notes here:
I am using Ambari version HDP-2.3.0.0-2557.
Ambari not showing hue to be installed? how can I install hue?
You should keep the old version for a couple of weeks til you confirm you're
happy with the newer version.
I don't know who has tested removing the older version, or if there are docs
that outline how to do it.
I certainly don't want yum erase old_version to do something bad without
testing it
when I goto Admin-version I find this HDP-2.3.0.0-2557.
