The Cassandra team is pleased to announce the release of Apache Cassandra version 0.7.8.
This version is a bug fix release[1] and in particular it fixes a regression of Cassandra 0.7.7 that made hinted handoff delivery not being triggered automatically (you could still force delivery through JMX). For that reason, upgrade is highly encouraged. Please always pay attention to the release notes[2] before upgrading though. This release can be downloaded as usual from http://cassandra.apache.org/.
