A quick update, in class MyDe:
public static class MyDe<T> extends AbstractDeserializationSchema<byte[]> {
  @Override
  public byte[] deserialize(byte[] arg0) {
    // Perform deserialization here, if needed;
    // otherwise, probably we can simply return arg0 as raw byte[]
    return arg0;
  }
}
