I found the problem. filterorg.apache.openjpa/filter under hidden-classes was somehow removed during the file merging on my part. The problem is solved. -- View this message in context:

MDB - reading messages in transaction

Hi, can a Geronimo message driven bean read several messages in a transaction? E.g. data might be split in several parts, one message for each part, and the messages should not be removed from the queue until the MDB has received all parts and has acknowledged having read all parts? Thanks,

I am trying to install geronimo 2.1 on our new Sun SOlaris box. I downloaded the zip file under /home/geronimo and ran the script . ./bin/geronimo.sh start to start the server and am getting the following errors at startup :
