Blog: http://gnodet.blogspot.com/
oSuchMethodError:
org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionReader.setValidationMode(I)V
at
org.apache.xbean.spring.context.v2.XBeanXmlBeanDefinitionReader.(XBeanXmlBeanDefinitionReader.java:58)
... 29 more
I saw there was an issue with spring 2.0 but I thought this had been
fixed in xbean release 2.7
any ideas?

I have just experienced a strange behavior. From the console, i locked the main key from the keystore portlet. Then, i restarted geronimo, but i now have:org.apache.geronimo.kernel.config.LifecycleException: start of geronimo/jetty/1.1/car failed

I do not think there is any way to connect with JConsole.
However, you should try mx4j, it should work.
The main reason for the missing mbean, is that the MBean server exposed
by the jmx connector is not the real one, but a wrapper on top of
Geronimo GBean kernel.

Geronimo uses GBeans that you can access through the jmx connector.
AFAIK, MBeans can not be registered and managed in Geronimo: more
precisely, if you register a mbean in the
existing mx4j server created by G, your mbean will not be accessed via
the jmx connector.

I found the problem and fixed it.
I will raise a jira and submit a patch as soon as i have tested it.

Thanks for this reply.
I'm trying to use the geronimo.include property in my project.xml to
include jars in the
car file. The effect is to add an
a problem with the name
of the jar entry.
I have searched all xml files for the "geronimo.include" string, but
found it nowhere.
Do I have to specify something else ? Or if this is a bug, can someone
roughly point me where to
look at ?
