I wonder if anyone is using 0.20.2 anymore, Facebook Hadoop is based on
0.20.1, but has a mix of other stuff as well.

Amazon Elastic MapReduce supports 0.18.3, 0.20.2, and 0.20.205
versions of Hadoop with custom patches.
Is 0.20.205 support good enough for those running
AWS EMR is a pretty good reason to keep 0.20 around. But as soon as
they provide more options, I'd like to re-visit this. Thanks!

It's certainly worth getting a survey of this. With the new RPC we're
munging mainly for the differences between 0.20 and 1+. If we drop
0.20 we can probably stop munging pretty quickly.
