Hi When I start my cluster with start-dfs.sh the secondary namenodes are created in the slaves machines. I set conf/masters to a different single machine (along with the assignment of dfs.http.address to the nameserver:50070) but it is apparently ignored.
hadoop version: 1.0.3 1 machine with JT NN 1 machine with SNN (desired) 61 machines with DN TT thanks giovanni
