My question was how to get the size of this mapper output. Anyhow I figured
it now, When running map reduce job execute “du –ah” will give me the size
of all directories including subdirectories.

It was the space issue. It works perfectly after adding this to mapped.site
xml file.

understand is why it uses only one
datanode disc space. I have change the number of reducer as 4 still it uses
only one datanode disc and throws above error.

I can see there is no space left on /dev/xvda2.
How can I make hadoop to see newly mounted /dev/xvda4 ? Or do I need to move
