first of all clear hdfs folder which you created while installing hadoop... its the same folder which contains zoopkeeper files. and then delete the file " slf4j-log4j12-1.5.8.jar " If you dont want to delete then simple move it outside the hbase folder to some other place. /home/ahuja/hbase/lib contains slf4j-log4j12-1.5.8.jar
format namenode and then START hbase. then after running the shell , list all tables and it is should work fine. Cheers, Kavish
