Hey Manish,
The new Parquet storage is almost ready but has not been released yet. In
one installation you can only choose one of them, not both together.
I guess the community will continue to maintain HBase version for a while.
But it will be deprecated in the future.

Totally agreed. And this feature can be integrated with ETL scheduling,
data governance, approval flow etc. Brilliant idea. If you need any help,

It's a known issue in EMR. Not only EMR, you will meet this error in HDP as
well. To enable yarn timeline service, you need to resolve these package
dependency conflict.
