Very interesting. I'm a little curious about performance and
functionality of the compiled DLL.
Also, about lucene, Lucene has been ported to .NET so it should be
possible to make something of that as well.

For a while now I've been curious to find a way to use neo4j within a .net
application. One obvious choice is running neoREST and having your .net app
act as a client. After discovering Ja.net ( a tool that compiles java for the
.net CLR ) a gave it try and was able to compile the neo4j kernel
