I have been looking at Ofbiz for a week.

I am looking at using it for retail shop. I had few questions on the product
attributes and features.

My product has attributes like width, depth and length and is sold at rates
based on volume. Now these attributes can have any possible values and it
will be impossible to capture all these possible combinations in Variant
product with these attributes defined as features (from 0.5 cm to 100s of
cm).

1. Is there a better way to set these up in Opentaps?
2. I understand that the volume can be used in the amount field to calculate
pricing. Will this work
3. The product can be cut and converted to smaller sizes while selling as
per the customer requirement. Will it require manufacturing to convert the
product into different dimensions. There is no other manufacturing activity
involved in the process.
4. The smaller size are scrap or wastages. Can these be tracked.

Thanks for your insights.
