I'm doing it in a terminal window on Linux.
But you're absolutely right: it's being rather harshly silently
truncated if the columns don't fit! That seems odd to me. But making the
terminal window full screen means I can see it all.

If so, consider stretching it's window wider so the whole description would
fit in (and stretch it before running sqlline)

Notice that the number of rows returned does increase when I add a
table, so I think the information is there, just not being
returned/displayed for some reason.
