Thanks

@Bosco: As per above discussion, Ranger-0.5 branch has commits for defect fixes
of ranger 0.5.
@Bosco: As per above discussion, Ranger-0.5 branch has commits for defect
fixes of ranger 0.5.0 release and it will be probably released as ranger
0.5.1.
We are looking for source code of Ranger 0.5.0 that was released on
10-June-2015.
As mentioned in https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/RA
I think a dot release makes sense, +1 to your suggestion Bosco.
@hanish, can you help us with any document fixes? I think the community can
benefit from your inputs.
@dilli, thanks for pointing to the email discussion thread.

@Hanish, the documentation is incorrect. We should be using branch ranger-0.5
for Apache Ranger 0.5.
@Dilli, I agree with you. We should standardize the release branch and
subsequent dot (patch) release branches.
Seems 0.5 branch has been free flowing for sometime, can we plan to release
0.5.
Hanish,
FYI.
Raised concerns along similar lines on dev list on noticing large commits
going into ranger-0.5 branch, anticipating problems like you have.
Reviewing the following thread on dev mailing might help you.
