There's https://github.com/wurstmeister/storm-s3 but seems like it has not
been updated for long time. I guess you can modify and make it work
accordingly.

I currently have Storm up and running on two Ubuntu VM's. I have Stormpulling
data from a database on a MySQL Cluster and now I am trying to figure out a way
of getting Storm and a Node.js app on a remote VM communicating. I have tried
to use a Kafka Topic to store the output from Storm
If the kafka cluster did nothing other than serve your storm cluster that might
help a little bit, but it seems extreme. I wouldn't personally try that
without specific performance measurements indicating that was a real bottleneck.
