Oh no, don't show the shopping cart - view.
Most user prefer to see the same thing what they saw after clicking on
"add to cart".
Just change the "## products in your cart cost ###" string somewhere in
your layout.
BTW it's nothing bad if the user sees top of the search-result list
after "
