This was brought up some time ago by Matt Raible--searching the archive may
provide more helpful information. To be honest I don't really remember what, if
any, the resolution was.
If it hasn't been dealt with I'll probably look into it now that my time is
somewhat more available.

With Struts1, i am used to getting runtime exceptions when for example
