Hi Aidan..
Yep saw that... and hopefully that will give as the tools to easier access
the powers in RS.. =)..
hehe... but for me, I am myself my worst enemy.. =).. I already have worked
out a workflow to animate characters.. which works well. .and is easy
enough.. but I havent done much more
Hi Matthias..
For me, its more if I can get energy.. and also if I can just getting things
finished
I have thought of doing this tut, for a long time.. but havent got to it...
=(..
( I have most of the tut in my head already.. its more or less just to get
it down on print.. )
Well lets ho
Thanks Matthias,
this is what I was thinking of, but said Id post it any way to make sure I
was right.

Hi Aidan,
go to frame 0 (to reset the creator)
disable "construct" for the lattice,
edit the lattice
enable "construct" for the lattice,
play the anim ;-)
Thx for this, I'll add this hint :-)
No, this simulation is not a buck in my opinion,
it's a result of RS hirachical animation system.

Hi Matthias..
Thx for sharing...
The tut is nice and clear...
At times I wish the workflow of the constructors were as clear...=)..
Only thing, as Brian (Zaug) pointed out...
But Hey, its not a big deal.. and if I would want, I would just myself add
them to a single page.. have done other edi
Hi Matthias,
I tried your tute. Thanks for that, nice for water droplets, blood
platelets etc.
Probably ignorance, but I notice if after doing all the bits you stated, if
you re edit the shape of the lattice, to deform the sphere differently, it
seems to maintain the shape of the previous la
Very Nice Matthias! Well done :)

Hi Matthias and Timo,
Matthias and I must have similar, outdated machines :) No matter how many
objects in a scene, cpu activity hardly ever goes above 65%. This is unlike
a machine with just one processor where cpu activity jumps to 100% easily
and often.
I assume that on a dual processor machi
Hi Frank,
On my Dual-System with outdated Athlons
it's working on both prozessors
max CPU-usage at about 65% on both,
while using the "Tools-->Tranformation-->deform with Noise"
on a 100x100 SDS Sphere in Quadview layout.
Nearly realtime on all viewports.

I've tried it with dual ht Xeons, but only for rendering. I doubt that the modeling side scales so well on multiple processors.
Only advatage I can think of is that the texture evaluation is done in
a separate thread, so that would ease up the load on MP rigs.On 11/25/05, Frank Bueters <[EMAIL PROT
Has anyone tried RS3D on a computer with a dual-core processor? Are both
"cores" being used at full power while modelling?
I'm asking because on my current double processor machine RS3D isn't able to
make use of both (separate) processors for modelling purposes. I'm about to
buy something new. Th
Hi Zaug,
I did this (single screenshots in new window), because of
the load-time and to not destroy the layout of my site.
There are some other tutorials on my list, and after
finishing them, it should all have the same look.
But if it's easy to follow (and useful) I'm glad to hear this.
