i compiled a uml kernel 2.4.24 on FC4 with gcc-4.0.0 and the compilation hang. i searched in the web and i understand that the problem is the gcc-4. thus i installed gcc-3.3.3 wich come with FC2. the compilation succeed. But when i boot it shows. [EMAIL PROTECTED] linux-2.4.24]# ./linux ubd0=cow1,

If hosts is *not* being used as the root fs, is it possible to make chown work in it? If so, does it require running the UML as root? Example: mooix:~# chown 31013 /var/lib/mooix/system/sessionmanager/sessions/item1/ chown: changing ownership of `/var/lib/mooix/system/sessionmanager/sessions/it
