Hi,
I nievely took an image of the root partition from one of my FC2 servers and tried to boot it under UML. I can't seem to get it past mounting the root partition in read-only mode. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Host: FC2 2.6.5-1.358, I've compiled a 2.6.9 kernel plus uml-2.6.9-bb4.patch + UBD_SYNC option. I've tried copying the ext3 root image to an ext2 file root image, no luck. Appended "init=/bin/sh 1" to boot. Moved /lib/tls to /lib/no_no_tls, no luck.
Is this hopeless? Is this perhaps something that Mr Stearns has solved?
