Velocity is used for sending e-mail and for the menuing system (Struts
Menu). I believe the reason this is happening is because you added
velocity to your dependency list a few days ago. I've found bugs with
the 1.5 version of Velocity and Struts Menu - hence the reason I have
not upgraded.

Just when I thought I had understood appfuse somewhat, I get flummoxed by
a new error from Velocity. What does appfuse use Velocity for exactly. Here
is the error I am getting on mvn tomcat:run-war. Thanks for your help!! I
haven't anything except add applicationContext-dao.xml tp my class
