Hi
Yeah the run method on the main instance should be able to keep
running, until, you ask Camel to stop.
And using the enableHangupSupport is a good idea, as then when you
terminate the JVM then its detected
and Camel is shutting down nicely. For example pressing cltr + d /

Hi,
Camel does not try to load the annotated Converter from package of

There are some points I miss here. From the initial description I understand
that your use case is fairly simple: consume message from A, enrich / transform
them using B & finally send them to C.
What I don't get is how you ended up having like 20 processors. The number
sounds really big to me.
I have used jdk 1.6
but still I got the same error. As per your guidance, I have added
concurrentlinkedhashmap-lru-1.2 jar and tested, but still getting the same
error.
Which jar i need to implement in my war file?
jdk version jdk1.6.0_18.

Hi,
You misunderstood what I said about concurrentlinkedhashmap! It gets already
SHADED into the camel-core jar itself, check the content of [1] for this
purpose! So you do NOT have to include it by yourself.
As you get a java.lang.NoSuchMethodError I've got a strong suspection that

If all your doing is using an API, and you don't really care what is
happening underneath, then I can see no need for Camel.
It would be the equivalent of trying to use Camel to do a series of String
manipulation calls. For all you know, the String class makes remote calls
over proprietary Oracle
Thank you.
I have got the problem resolved with your guidance...
The problem is with jdk only.
Thank you so much :-)

Ioannis, Denis,
Thanks for you input.
What you say is exactly the same what I think now, that we tried to
"overuse" Camel. We actually used it as a workflow engine for the message
processing, instead of integration engine. Instead of using Java
if-then-else logic inside a processor, we used Camel
Did you try to deploy the war into other web container like Tomcat?
BTW, can you double check the lib of war, if there is any other version
of camel ?

I'll jump in and try to clarify a few things. From the subject of this
tread, it looks like your not quite sure if you're using Camel in the
intended way. You already got a few good suggestions. In particular,
Ashwin's 1b is what I would have recommended myself too. Yet, Denis

Well whatever its an Oracle issue as it contains data that are not serializable.

Thanks for you feedback. Here is some additional explanation of my points:

Camel 2.6 supports
- JDK1.5 and 1.6
- Spring 2.5.x and 3.0.x
- any OS that can run JVM 1.5/1.6
- any app server that can run Camel (give it a spin yourself, there is
no official list at Apache). We basically support as many as possible.
Mind that some app server requires a little extra module, se
