I am unable to migrate cxfEndpoint in camel blueprint from version 2.x to 3.

Would someone be able to advise?
To keep things simple, I downloaded latest karaf 4.4 and Java 11 and issued
the following in console
feature:repo-add camel 3.16.0
feature:install camel
feature:install came
