I have it working with vSphere 5.5, ACS 4.3.0 and CentOS 6.5.
Do you mind sharing how the build was executed? How did you check lack
of vmware support?

Initially I tried to change password of local admin from UI , it fails
because its by design. So I changed from DB it worked.
After that I had to change password for AD user in which I had Integrated
with CS. I changed from windows AD . But it didn't worked.I think
