Do you see any calls in vcenter that failed? if so, try to extract the
error from the hypervisor.
If the error is too generic, you would need to identify the hypervisor
and look at the hostd.log file and/or vcenters error log.

I believe your host is expected to be in the same subnet as your pod. In

Also if someone could give me some guidance or at least a hint on this I am
willing to create documentation for implementation. I looked at the
documentation provided by Citrix and I am not sure that it is correct.

It sounds like a genuine kvm-plugin bug. Have a look if you recognise
it in jira or add a ticket. I can't really tell whether it is code or
configuration.
