This is probably something simple, but I can't find it.
*TLDR: how to send guests the internal IP of the management server instead
of public?*
My setup:
xx.47.90.0/24 => cloud-public
10.1.40.0/24 => cloud-private (SAN + MGMT)
Management server: xx.47.90.4 (public IP) and 10.1.40.4 (private IP)
Check the catalina.out to see if it logs any errors

Hi Ilya,
Just testing this for the first time so I'm not sure if this has ever
worked. I will raise this in JIRA and post it to the dev list.
Thanks!

Hello,
Can someone kindly help me troubleshoot an issue ?
Running ACS 4.2.1 on Xen 6.2.
My 3 hosts are in state disconnected following an issue with
cloudstack-management not starting because the hostname was not in the
hosts file.
Following this, my 3 hosts went into state disconnected.

Guys, I am not sure what you want exactly but the 4.2 private gateway
functionality only allows for one route (cidr) and any routing should
be handled by the foreign gateway. There has been some development and
some is planned but this is rather slow at the moment.

Hi Benoit
When running more than one CloudStack Management Server you need to put a load
balancer in front of them. This load balancer (or ideally pair of HA load
balancers) need to manage the following ports
8250 - This is the port the System VMs use when communicating with the

Any advice ? Any feedback ? Does somebody already did that ?
Thanks for your responses.

Hi Andrei and Sam,
My instance wasn't HA enabled so I've done that now (also re-installed both the
xen servers). How do I assign this instance to a xen server? Its currently in a
stopped state and if I attempt to start it up it says "Unable to start a VM due
to insufficient capacity". I'm assum
Hi Paul,
I chose a basic zone with all networks on one cable ie. I only have one cable
plugged into the xen server so yanking the cable should have stopped all comms
to the machine. Thanks for the note on xen rebuilds - will look into that.
Cheers,
