Its functional and working fine. What’s the exact command you have tried?
To install certificate you have to run installer as administrator.

Hi everyone,
As many of you are aware, CloudStack Day Seattle is going to be held the day
after LinuxCon/CloudOpen North America 2015 on August 20th.
The deadline for submitting a proposal for CloudStack Day Seattle is Friday,
June 12. To submit a proposal visit:

Just tried it on a full Windows 2012 r2 server (same AD domain), and it
installed successfully.
So, only occurs when installing on Hyper-V 2012r2 server. Can someone
confirm that this is functional?

My guess is that there wasn't a new system VM template released for 4.4.3.
We try not to release new ones unless there's a reason to, to spare
operators of downtime.
Afaik you only need the routing checkbox if you plan to use a regular
template as VR template.
Change the template type to 'SYSTEM
Erik,
You are absolutely right. the 4.4.3 template that I have is shown as USER and
not SYSTEM. I will try changing this in the evening and giving it a go.
Is there an error in the documentation? Should the Routing be set as Yes when
adding a new system vm template?
Thanks

Your template might not have been used at all, thus SSVM/CPVM might be
running the old version (check /etc/cloudstack-release).

Andrija,
I did check and that particular vm has a default nic. So my issue seems to be
different from yours.
Also, as i've mentioned a few minutes ago, switching back the global settings
to the previous template fixes the issue.
I will take a look if the template is correctly set to SYSTEM. I
1) is the type of the new systemvm template 'USER' or 'SYSTEM'?
2) if 'USER', try setting the routing flag in the database and retry.

Erik,
You are absolutely right, I did have an issue with 4.3.1 i believe, however,
when the 4.3.2 was released I've not had any issues upgrading to it. So I have
assumed the issue have been corrected.

According to Google you had the exact same problem while going from 4.2 to

It might not have been a new systemvm for 4.4.3, and thus the database
won't get upgraded with your template.
Should be easy enough to check if the type is 'USER' or 'SYSTEM' in the ui.

Erik,
No I did not check the Routing option when creating the template as per the
Documentation. All options should be set to No according to the upgrade
instructions. I've done the same procedure when I was upgrading from 4.2.x
branch to 4.3.x and again from 4.3.x to 4.4.2 and not had any issu
Did you check the 'Routing' checkbox when you added the template?

Dear Andrei,
had similar issues on two deployments, can you try to log on to the router VM
and tail the cloud-logfiles?

tail -f /var/log/cloud.log*

I've recently upgraded from 4.4.2 (shapeblue repo) to 4.4.3 (shapeblue repo). I

I've also upgraded the systemvm template as per the ShapeBlue i
