Hi all,
in the meantime we have found out that obviously not only the usage
records are missing for migrated volumes but
even the event records. It looks as if a volume is migrated, for the new
volume record/id no events are written to
the database.
Example, a new volume record after migration:
We are wrapping up 4.4.4. I am assuming there is a need for a 4.5.2
but want some confirmation in response to this. If we don't have extra
blockers we should be able to release it within a week.
next up is 4.6.0. :o
anybody got some input on the release process we should follow? And

I am in the process of moving some servers into cloudstack and to get the
servers connected to each other I build the guest network and it acquired a
public ip from the pool I have setup. All is good and well until the day comes
to where I need to cut the public ip address over to the new serve
Hi List
First of all, thanks to the CloudStack developer and user community
for an excellent piece of software!
I'd like to understand the best way of implementing a PaaS layer on
top of a CloudStack 4.5 based IaaS.
The ideal (to me) is for the PaaS layer to be integrated to the point
that PaaS
I guess you would call this PaaS provisioning.
It seems like you have a good handle on process.
Few more things to consider:
You may want to look into autoscaling options - to spin up more
PaaS slave nodes.
The templates for PaaS engine and PaaS slave nodes would make use
of metadata t
For KVM i'm not certain, for VMware - you can pass arbitrary vmware
specific configs via API, assume one can pass boot order - but havent
yet tried..

Hi all,
Now that 4.4.4 has passed, I would like to start a 4.5.2 release effort soon.
Please share any blockers, critical issues and other problems you may have
discovered with 4.5.1 that we should try to fix in ACS 4.5.2.
Thanks.

Rohit
This affects vmware (from what i've seen, others HV could be affected),
but function that converts VM to template is broken..

Hello Jeremy,
I didn't clearly understand the problem. Did you have public IP range
x.x.x.x and would like to change it to y.y.y.y? General rule of thumb -- you
should register new network and assign new VIF to VM from this new net. Then
make it "default" for the VM and then you can re
Hello,
I would like to use DR service for CloudSrtack. Found below useful video.

Where can I get the status of this project and the source code?
And can any one suggest how to achieve DR solution in CloudSrtack.
Thank you,
Suneel Mallela.
