VM status is still running because we cannot determine the status of VM on host
which is in disconnected state. Host is in disconnected state may be due to
network glitch but may be VM is still running on it.

What about other investigators, specifically " KVMInvestigator,
PingInvestigator"? They report the VMs as alive=false too?
Also, it is recommended that you look at the management-sever.log instead of
catalina.out (for one, the latter doesn’t have timestamp).

Hi Somesh,
Sorry for late reply. I ctually deleted all the entries from
op_dc_ip_address alloc table as the cpvm was hung in start phase...the
issue started after that only..I then again entered a dummy entry with

Hi, all:
We are in the process of upgrading our CloudStack from 4.3.2 to 4.5.1. I just
noticed that for CS 4.3.2, there are two TCP connections from
cloudstack-management java process to RabbitMQ cluster, but for CS 4.5.1 there
is only one TCP connection to RabbitMQ cluster.

Done.
I ran up on to this issue when was trying to deploy CoreOS with rich
cloud-init data. So yeah, I think in future will be more users who will
use "big" userdata.

Martins,
post will work, if there is no feature request on cloudmonkey could you
add one in Jira ? I found too that it could be a valuable feature to

Hello,
is there any cloud provider, which provides Object Storage integration (S3 or

I want to use Object Storage for VMs and workloads and not only as secondary
storage alternative.

Ok.
I don’t think searching for errors/failures would help. This may not be an
error situation from cloudstack perspective.
We need to search for these - [SimpleInvestigator, XenServerInvestigator,

Hi Folks,
Bit more info here, It seems that after a network restart with the clean
option, one of the router ip's is not being reserved correctly:
mysql> select id,account_id,domain_id,public_ip_address,state,allocated
from user_ip_address where public_ip_address in

There is currently feature request to support auth_tcp=sasl on CloudStack
side ;) I hope that they will officially support soon :)
