Hi, when you create a service offering (not an instance) it allows
specifying HA or not.

Hi Dag,
I can’t find any option for HA when I try to create new instances. How do I

Hello everyone!
I am using cloudstack 4.9.2.0 with 5 KVM hosts, however I have problem with
the migration of disks between storages they are limited to 300MBs in a
10GB network I already checked the network with iperf and I get 10Gb as
well as the IOs of the disks. But the copies really are limited
I believe the best solution for replication is GlusterFS, I have a working

We are using 4.10 + xenserver 7.1 it work well so far but we had to
manually update ostype mapping in the database.
Also, the xentools iso changed name, not sur if it started in 7.0, so
cloudstack fail to attach xentools iso for now.

Hi William,
HA follows the compute offering of your VMs, it’s not attached to the host as
such. So if the VM uses a HA offering then ACS will monitor it and bring it
back online if offline.

anyone please give me some guide how to enable it? I alrea
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. So I summarized that NFS with DRDB is enough for POC
purpose but not recommended for large scale production, where ceph would be
more suitable.
Thanks for the insight for this problem.

Hi Paul, thank you for the reply
yes it is Vmware Distributed Switch
During the zone creation as VLAN range I have given 106 to 150, and I have

Communication between guests in the same cluster is just
Hi All,
1. Does CloudStack has any ways of doing Disaster Recovery for Guest VM? or
do I need to rely on third-party product?
2. How does a fail-over keeps the IP consistence

By vds - are you meaning VMware Distributed Switches?
It sounds like you are not trunking VLANs between your physical hosts fully.
