after the ceph admin node executed the following command, my problem was solved.
[root@cn01-nodea ~]# ceph auth caps client.cloudstack mon 'allow profile rbd'
osd 'allow profile rbd pool=rbd'

And here comes into play a new nice and shiny CloudMonkey, 6.0.0, writen in
Go - with AUTOCOMPLETE - which will help you see actually what ID's you can
specify :)
