Hi, I am trying to deploy ACS with Advanced Zone with SG. With network
offering, I am selecting only UserData with ConfigDrive and SecurityGroup. I am
using untagged vlan as hypervisor have single nic to use for all type of
traffic. But when I try to PXE boot a VM from external DHCP which is on
compute offerings dictate whether the instance (its ROOT volume...) should
be deployed on the local or shared storage.
Same is true for disk offerings (i.e. for DATA disks).

Thanks Thomas,
No, I cannot find it there in the zone either (thou the one for system vms is).
But look! I found it in the Instance Offering.
I created a SMALL SSD instance offering with Local Storage and
it works!
not that I get networking yet, but at least it shows up on the console
Check for that parameter under individual zone settings
Regards
Thomas

Hi
I am deploying my first ACS cluster, debugging the installation procedure step
by step.
It is ACS 4.14, Ubuntu 18, KVM, Advanced Networking, Local Primary Storage.
I have gotten to the point were I can see the console and upload
templates/ISOs, so I assume both System VMs are now working
For the record, it works fine on 4.13 and later (up to 4.11) - perhaps some
issue in newer Jetty used in 4.14 or Java 11, etc...

My certificate issue is with 4.14. When I have a certificate using SAN the UI
doesn't load. When I have a certificate using just the CN as FQDN the UI loads.

Mike are you trying on 4.14 or older build?
I believe I've just seen an issue on 4.14.
