As far as I know baremetal in ACS hasn't been used much, the code should still
be functional but without much new.
If you can share your use can then we might be able to assist further.

I've an idea around mapping existing configuration parameters to the APIs when
they are used during some operation, instead of looking for configuration
parameters using string search or documentation. This helps in debugging or
tuning the API operation easily w.r.t. configuration
