Hello. I did that: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/10119
Hi, to clarify, I no longer have the issue with the LoadBalancer stuck in
‘Pending’. The redeployment of my Kubernetes cluster while experimenting with
the various parameters for deploying a Kubernetes cluster finally got me to a
point where my LoadBalancer properly got an IP address.
I now ha
Hi Eric
Thanks for the information.
Let me try to reproduce the issue in my lab.
What is the cloudstack version and Kubernetes version you are using ?
Also could you please share the nginx ingress controller yaml
It’s documented in the example to use the cloud user

Hi, I am using KVM with VLAN-based advanced networking. I have allocated VLANs
1000-2000 to VPC’s and looking at the virtual router, it’s using VLAN 1016. I
successfully can ssh through the virtual router IP address to the nodes via the
virtual router port redirects that were set up by Cloudstac
Hi Eric
Could you please let me know the hypervisor you are using with Cloudstack.
Is it KVM or Vmware ?

Ugh. Literally the simplest possible configuration and it's stuck in 'Pending'.
So it has to be an issue on the Cloudstack side? Let me get the configuration

Okay. I destroyed the Kubernetes cluster and re-created it trying various

Not currently using CEPH, but it is a very solid and popular choice in
the community, particularly as a hyper-converged solution with KVM, not
sure about XCP-Ng.
There's a learning curve, so account for time to test and learn.

Hello CS Community,
Changing the backend is only needed if you want Security Groups, for
regular Advanced Zones there is no need, so you can just leave the
defaults on, ie ovs.

Hello CS Community,
I wanted to hear from you about your experience with using Ceph with Cloudstack
if you are. We currently use the traditional HA, scale-up storage structure,
but we are looking into moving to something like Ceph as we grow.
For those of you who use Ceph, what has been your ex
As far as I am aware, and based on the installation instructions, if you are
running Xen (or XCP-NG), you must change the backend networking to “Linux
networking” vs. OpenVSwitch. We used Advanced networking, without Security
Groups, on our cluster.
Is this something that is changing, or has it
Azmir,
If the default roles do not allow your users to perform the tasks you want
them to be able to perform, you can create custom roles for them assigning
individual API permissions. You can base these roles on the existing ones
and then adjust according to your needs.

Dear CloudStack Community,

Dear All,
We cannot change any disk offering for VMs while logged in as "Domain
Admin" or "User". But we can change VMs / Volume disk offering while logged
in as admin. Please guide us on how we can enable permission for that. We
are currently using CloudStack version 4.19.1.1
