Hi Tata, Basically you can workaround in vm_tempalte table for existing template or user_vm_details for provisioned VM. My PR just fix non-“osdefault” rootdiskcontroller with Sharedfs, if you want to do so, you can update the cloudstack jar file. Eg "jar uf cloudstack-4.20.1.0.jar conf/fsvm-ini

Hi Abhisar, When you do initial installation, the systemvm by default chose virtio as root disk controller, however when you do a upgrade with registering newer version systemvm template, you will have opportunities to choose preferred rootdiskcontroller, in my environment virt-scsi are perform
