There is the ability to pass arbitrary configuration data to an instance by
enabling the ‘allow.additional.vm.configuration.list.kvm’ setting which
requires specifying which Domain XML fields you want to be able to configure.

Hi Julius,
When I deployed this, I did not have to do anything at the instance or VM
startup to produce the MAC+IP routes. I may have had a line or two in the FRR
configuration on the host to make sure it was advertising the Mac-IP
automatically. It may have been ‘advertise-svi-ip’.

I am experiencing a strange issue with 4.19.1.0 when rebooting a host for
normal patching.
I have a consolidated setup with three KVM hosts. Two of the hosts are running
the management server and databases, and all three run the agent.

Hi Piotr,
When attempting to add the NIC did you stop the instance?
I've found to add additional volumes I had to stop the instance to avoid this
error. That being said, I've definitely added a NIC while the instance is
running.
