It isn't crystal clear to me from the documentation how to do this - I'm most familiar with using VMWare ESX.
If I understand correctly, the only way I can do this is to create a template from my existing VM and then create a copy from the template. http://cloudstack.apache.org/docs/en-US/Apache_CloudStack/4.0.2/html/Admin_Guide/create-template-from-existing-vm.html# I'm using CloudStack v 4.0.2.20130420145617.
