Hi,
I was wondering if a UEFI-based VM migrated from VMware to KVM would work
correctly. Since VMware and KVM use different EFI distributions (VMware
ESXi vs. KVM's OVMF firmware), I suspect there might be compatibility
concerns.
Has anyone tested this migration? If so, were any modifications req

Hi,
I suggest checking virsh edit output with tags for finding the OS
info.
Usually When a VM's deployed on KVM with given spec, in case the respective
Guest OS is not mapped (or) not supported on KVM host, by default default
OS [ Other ] is configured.

Hi,
Troubleshooting network latency in the KVM environment depends on several
factors.
Have you observed any pattern or a specific use-case when network latency
is occurring?
Does your KVM environment contain and hold a separate network for storage?

Yes, I have tested and am able to run Windows Server 2016 and Server 2019
in secure mode with cloudstack as part of
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/3638 pull request with
cloudstack.
With the recent version I haven't checked.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Gary,
If you don't have any specific dependencies with Ubunut version try with
the latest Ubuntu 22.04, it has secure files. I verified and it supports
secure files.

I see wrong vars configured for secure VAR. * *
It should be something like
"/usr/share/OVMF/OVMF_CODE.secboot.fd:/usr/share/OVMF/OVMF_VARS.fd", or the
file should be like path to the OVMF_VARS.secboot.fd inside uefi.properties
on the Ubuntu Host. I hope this helps.
Thanks &

Hi,

mentioned. Does NoVnc Supported in CentOS 8.

Hi,
Looks like you have an issue with mysql configuration where the mysql
server is running with localhost binding. Try to run the mysql server below
config and restart cloudstack service.
/etc/my.cnf
bind-address="0.0.0.0"
