Hi Andrew,
Difficult to tell without seeing your logs – what does
/var/log/cloudstack/management/management-server.log say? You will see the
startup errors in there.
Also – my guess is you are running tomcat7? If so remember to run the right
setup switch: cloudstack-setup-management --tomcat7
hi all
I have a question to cloudstack deployment
here is my question
tomcat is running now but 404 not found
mysql and tomcat process is running
try to conect my-ip:8080/client/ by browser but empty
please see this
[root@srvr1 my.cnf.d]# ps -aux | grep tomcat
cloud 8033 2.2 9.8 6013528 778512
I am presently getting 404 error when attempting to access the UI. I believe
it’s due to the version of my Tomcat. However, I am unsure what version I
should be using. As I seem to have not disabled automatic updates, as such,
many things have been updated.
Please advise,
Mo

Hello,
Curious, I am getting this message, it’s worked for 10 days without issue. No
reboots or changes really made by me.
Rebooting agent / management resolves it. Agent log shows it cannot connect,
but no firewall rules have been altered.
Any information would be appreciated.

I just created the template serveral minutes ago.
A 404 error is quite strange. Is it from Tomcat (it says Tomcat at the
bottom)? Is the cloud-client rpm installed correctly?
rpm -vV cloud-client
Are you sure Tomcat is listening on 8080/tcp on the management server?
Also make sure to connect directly to the correct server (no proxy, at
least
