Hi cloudstack,
I am trying to make a lab with cloudstack 4.13 but after install i can not
view any console VM
My lab with 2 servers: 1 for management and 1 host using KVM. Both server
running CentOS 7.7 with 2 NIC, eth0: 10.84.1.x/24 with gateway 10.84.1.1,
eth1: 192.168.100.x/24 without gateway

I would suggest opening Developer Tools in the browser, and observe the
iframe URL - it is loading an HTTP/HTTPS URL from the Public IP of the CPVM
(you can see it there as iframe URL, or on the CPVM itself).
1. Copy that URL of the iframe, and enter in into new tab address field and
see
Hello,
I did but issue exists.
Please advise.

Hello,
After recent reboot, console proxy refuses access to all VMs with error Unable
to start console session as connection is refused by the machine you are
accessing
Please advise.
Thanks
Yeah, it's a hassle.
I wish the console VM came with a self signed certificate by default and be
accessed via https by default.
Nowadays I use your proxy-ing tip to quickly put the cloudstack management
behind mod_ssl - way easier than having to mess with Tomcat, however browsers

Hi,
Last I enabled HTTPS for the console VM, I had to get a *.domain.tld and a
wildcard certificate to match that.
Is there no other way to enable SSL without the wildcard DNS bit?
It adds a bit of overhead having to setup DNS infra for the customer just so
he's able to securely access his
to the console VM public IP ( in
this case auto-assigned to 192.168.30.41/27 ).
However, if I turn off iptables on the host running the console VM, I
am able to ping / connect to it and get console function working in
the UI.
Any clues to what I should check/tweak?
Thanks.

Hi guys,

When I deploy a WIN2012 instance and try to open the VM console, it is too
small for the lowest WIN2012 resolution and the result is that the console

After updating last week to 4.4.1 the console access from the cloudstack

I have it set up to do https relaying with apache to port 8080 and it works
great on /client.

The CPVM appears to be running, the redirect is pointing to
https://mydomain.com not https://111-111-111-111.mydomain.com, which I
thought was previously the CPVM maybe there's a setting that's new or not
updated properly in my upgrade?

Or so I thought, the console VM still wasn't accessible so I tried
rebooting them and that was worse. I think the problem was my SSL certs, I
used a bug to get them to be placed correctly into cloudstack, I had to
URLencode them twice previously and use the API
