Who uses "awsapi" or any other EC2 compatible interface such as ec2stack
with CloudStack (or CloudStack distros such as Citrix CloudPlatform) in
production? And, if marketing and publicity are/were big motivation(s)?

Correct. 6.2 SP1 is a different resource within CloudStack, so if you're
on 6.2 or prior GPU pass-through isn't available.

Sounds like you are trying to use vrrp/keepalive, I am not sure how this will
work.
What kind of environment do you have? In basic or advanced network with
security groups will be tricky to get it working.

Sounds like you are assigning the same IP to two guest vms. Cloudstack
will guard against that. It will allow for the redundancy in guest
networks on the router and we are looking into implementing this on
vpc routers as well. There are no plans for allowing this on regular
vms.

The awsapi was one of the reasons we chose to use ACS. We have developed some
internal tools and apps to manage our deployments on AWS that we want to re-use
on ACS. We have not been able to use it yet because it was broken in 4.1.1.

If you wish to enable SSL for console access and SSVM, yes :-)
For fresh installs, SSL would be disabled by default.

I believe you need to drill down to the pods (infrastructure->pod), and
edit their settings. thats where the management IP range is derived from.

After installing system VM templates, the console proxy VM stays in “alert”
state. When I log in to console proxy VM with ssh, the
com.cloud.agent.AgentShell process is running, but it is not listening on port
443 or able to connect to MS at port 8250. I see following log entry in

Looking at the uploadVolume command, the ONLY way to "upload" a volume is
if the VHD file is sitting on an external, routable web server. Is that
correct? There's no way to send a file stream from one's local machine with
a PUT request?

If you are upgrading from 4.2 to 4.4(before upgrade you uploaded certificates
successfully) still you need to re-upload the your SSL certificates after
upgrade for the new fixes to take effect.
In 4.2 ssl is enabled(by default) and after upgrade CS keeps the same
configuration(i.e ssl e
