hello,
I am new in cloudstack. I am trying to configure on Hyper-V agent.
I have download 4.3 agent from
http://jenkins.buildacloud.org/view/4.3/job/HyperVAgent4.3/
And install as a service the service is running. My question is, do I need
to modify any files so it connect my management server?
You can use vswitch if you change the network offering and remove security
groups (if that is ok for your deployment). However I have had problems with
some versions of CS that will not let you add anything but bridge.
Unfortunately can't remember which off the top of my head.
Also make sure
Anyone?

selinux is disabled, I have just double checked.
BTW, this is what I can see in the cloudstack-agent.err log - seems like
some CEPH related issues, but not sure why would agent die...
If I recall correclty, this might be happening since the CEPH update from
0.80.3? to 0.87 - and this se
Adrian,
Rant or not, I believe you have raised a valid point and reflect certain group
of peoples requirement.
Based on your requirement, I believe you are looking for something like Vyatta.

G'day Carlos,
Very good points on the iptables and CS versions - this got me thinking.
I rebuilt my management server to be 4.3.2 using ShapeBlue's yum repo and
downloaded their system template also, and I disabled iptables on the
management server.
After this, I rebuilt my xenserver pool with 6.2
Don't have to modify any files. Try turning off the firewall on your hyperv
host and add it again

The points raised are certainly valid from an enterprise networking
standpoint, and don't fall on deaf ears, but we should keep things in
perspective. To provide the aforementioned features would be
relatively uncharted territory in the cloud orchestration world (at
least not considering vendor pro
