Hi
I'm using Cloudstack 4.3.X. and I need to use cloudmonkey to perform the
task of assigning the vm instance to another user (I did not find a way to
do from the web interface in one step)
I'm using the following command:
assign virtualmachine *account='Part1 Part2 Part3*'
domainid=9f33d216-c
Hi!
I try to create an instance on my ACS (4.4.3, XenServer 6.2 SP1). The
deployment fails on the first host in the cluster, as its memory is nearly full.
I see this message:

We have several KVM nodes running Cloudstack 4.4.2. Sometimes an
instance with X amount of RAM provisioned will be started on a host that
has X+a small amount of RAM free. The kernel OOM killer will eventually
kill off the instance. Has anyone else seen this behavior, is there a

Hi All,
Since the DR structure is not ready yet in the CS 4.5.x is there any plan
to on Zone to Zone VM Migration this will really help us to make the DR
implementation or region to region migration for both xenserver and kvm.
Thanks,

Perhaps memory overcommit is set to greater than 1? What is your cut off
threshold? it usually set to 85%, which means you always leave 15% of
memory in reserve.
Also, is your mem baloon driver in guest VMs disabled?
As a test, create some VMs that are slightly under your cut off
threshold,
Hi Sebastien, I am checking on this. I will get back as soon as I get some info.

HI Keerthi,
It seems you want this in cloudstack.
So how does a feature gets into the code ?
Someone needs to write it, and since Apache is a volunteer open source
organization there is no funding assigned for code development. The CloudStack
project as such does not have a budget.
