Hello,
I am trying to update a network service offering to set the network rate to
1000 (Gigabit)
cmk updateNetworkOffering id=169bcc12-be7d-4175-b5ce-b244f25e42bf
networkrate=1000
But the changes do not take effect and the json output still has the value set
to 200 and no error message.

Hi,
networkrate is not a valid parameter of the API. refer to

Thanks, Ivet!
I like the design proposal. I am sure it will help the project a lot.

Is there any way (global configuration, role changes, etc.) to restrict
deletion of an instance to the creator only?
For example, I have a Project with a few users. If user A creates an
instance, only user A can delete it. The goal is that one user can't delete
instances from another by mistake.
Hello,
Anybody here using Apache CloudStack with LINBIT? Would appreciate if you can

Hi Ivet,

Yeah, that might be difficult, the entire idea of a "project" is for the
members to share the resources, ie have access to them, that means
deletions.
Off the top of my head - and it could just be me overthinking it - you
could build some sort of proxy for the API, basically intercept it and
Hi Guys
Anyone willing to assist me with a quick one. What's the best and
recommended way to shrink a VM volume via UI? The VM volume was first 60
GB, we then expended it to 120 GB and increased it in the VM via parted.
I now want to take it back to 60GB. How do I proceed? Do I first shrink
Looks great Ivet! Looking forward to seeing it in action!

Hi,
Yes, you should make sure the filesystem and partitions are within the
to be set new boundaries.
Once that's done you can shrink the volume.
I would recommend:
- Shrink EXT4 + Partitions to 59GB
- Shrink volume to 60GB
- Grow EXT4 + Partitions to 60GB
The step to 59GB is to prevent that
