FYI, when I was doing the other way: # pkg_chk -a which is supposed to be binary upgrade by default, it fetched the sources as well. And where does the fetch (pkg_chk -f) put the binary packages anyway?

Our normal 'make' sometimes fails to kill children too. Now it is certainly possible for a program to ignore SIGINT, but the real problem here is probably due to a bug in DragonFly rather than a bug in make or bmake. The problem has been reported on other operating systems

I've fixed the SIG_IGN problem in our make. Someone needs to submit a similar fix in pkgsrc's bmake. -Matt
