FYI, when I was doing the other way:
# pkg_chk -a
which is supposed to be binary upgrade by default, it fetched the
sources as well. And where does the fetch (pkg_chk -f) put the binary
packages anyway?

It lacks a manpage, could you add one?

You mentioned sources in another email also.
Can you please give us the filename of one file it fetched? And also a
part of a tar file listing tar tvzf
I'm running df 1.6.1 with recent pkgsrc. I don't know if it has worked in
previous versions. The pkgsrc output looks ok until the configure phase.
Any ideas?

The latter. I gave up trying to understand that fucking configure alike.
It's C++. Not worth my time.

Our normal 'make' sometimes fails to kill children too. Now it is
certainly possible for a program to ignore SIGINT, but the real
problem here is probably due to a bug in DragonFly rather than a bug
in make or bmake.
The problem has been reported on other operating systems

I've fixed the SIG_IGN problem in our make. Someone needs to submit
a similar fix in pkgsrc's bmake.

Sorry I will not handle this. At least not this week. NetBSD's make has
diverged a lot more due to recent changes.
Marc and I have talked back and forth on this topic for a couple of
months. I have reviewed and accepted the script and it is now part
of our base distribution.
Of course, it will NOT be enabled automatically... you have to add
two lines to your /etc/periodic.conf to enable
