Hi Jose Luis,
welcome to DragonFly. About your problem; the package you are trying to
install is called py25-libxml2 (or py24-, py23-).
If I don't know the name of a package I normally end up browsing
http://pkgbox.dragonflybsd.org/packages/DragonFly-2.3.0/All/ and finding
how it is called and the
Hi,
I've been booting a CD installer of 2.2.1 RELEASE but encountered a
problem on typing a character with my USB keyboard. At the login
prompt, I can't type any character like 'installer' or 'root' to

Welcome to DragonFlyBSD Jose :)
Well, the problem is that, recently, some changes to libc were

Hi,
Can you please try to boot with verbose option and provide us dmesg
(boot messages)?
If you have a null modem cable, you can setup console=comconsole in
the loader and get the full messages. If not, you can just take a
picture of the point where it hangs.
Thanks

Recently, I've tried both 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 and both version seize during
boot-up. This AMD dual-core PC (Compaq) seizes at the point of detecting my USB
PCI card with a NEC uPD 9210 USB controller.
