All,
just my 2 cents :-)
since one week, I'm just installing dbsd on an hp-mini: Atom N455.
I've no CPU related issues.
here sysctl out put:
hw.acpi.cpu.cx_lowest: C1
hw.acpi.cpu.px_dom0.available: 1666 1333 1000
hw.acpi.cpu.px_dom0.members: cpu0(1000)
hw.acpi.cpu.px_dom0.select: 1000
hw.acpi.c
Thanks Freddie,
This is indeed the problem.
I've not make attention that the shell is Tcsh and nice is part of it
(like for csh).

4 bit, but Fedora (managing grub) is a 32bit
installation. Does this could be the cause ?
Then why I've never had issues with other BSD systems ?

Hi,
I'm willing to give a try to dragonfly, but grub does not boot it ;-(
I have 2 disks: Disk 1 contains netbsd and freebsd on primary
partitions (p1, p2) and Linux on secondary partition (p5). Disk 2 has
pcbsd on primary partition (p1), and I've prepared a 15GB partition
(p2) for dfbsd..
