Hi :
It might help to post a bug-report about it

My first thought was a graphics-card issue but if text displays properly in
other apps (such as emailer) then it might be something that only the devs
could
help with.
Good luck and regards from

I used to use the extension Linguist 1.4 (with
OpenOffice 3.x) a while ago.It used to work fine.Now I have LO3.3

downloaded that extension, but when I try to run it, I get the following

Hi All
New to the list!!
I have used OO since it was StarOffice way back. About 2 years ago I
converted to Linux and currently am using Linux Mint 9 KDE. I developed
a Database in OO Base which I still use (OO Version 3.4.1) and it runs
perfectly - (but I do have problems with OO Base!!).

Try System Preferences Print Fax, then remove any printers not in use.
Also, if you go into LO Preferences General and see if under Print Dialog,
Use Libre Office Dialogs is checked.
This gives you the option of using the LO Print menus, or Unchecked, the
System X Print menus.
I hope

I was excited to see the addition of --convert-to to the soffice binary, and
would like to use it to convert documents to PDF rather than using

One thing I'm missing is a way to scale spreadsheets to a single page. So

I've actually seen this myself occasionally starting back in OOo 3.x.
For me, it had always been an occasional thing not worth pursuing. That
being said, however, I'm definitely seeing the issue more frequently in
LO3.4 on Windows 7 64-bit. Not sure about LO3.3x. I only used that

I have noticed this also, as you say from way back. LO3.4 does seem
worse. Also the scroll rate in LO3.4 seems much slower in both writer
and calc (when you start a selection and extend down so the page needs
to scroll). I only have nvidia graphics cards in Linux and Mac.

Hi :)
There has been a scrolling issue before but the circumstances were quite
specific. Is it happening when you try to highlight text?

Tom :)

Hello
I have just discovered an error when printing in landscape format on my
system. Whether I create a normal text page or a DL envelope document in
Writer, the printed output does not match the preview.
The page preview for my DL envelope test can be seen here:

Another update. First off, in response to Jean-Francois, I checked, and there
are no special characters in the share name or server name.
I also have some more test results. Using two computers (Old Toshiba
Satellite, and desktop) I ran the Live cd for both Ubuntu 10.10 (has OOo),
